Introducing the 12
Health Creation Principles
The 12 Health Creation Principles are the foundation of the Health Creation Programme. All are relevant, but some will be particularly relevant for you.
There are three principles in each of the four areas of Body, Mind, Spirit and Environment. You will become clear about how well you are doing in each principle when you do your Picture of Health Assessment. This gives you both a visual impression of your current state and also a Life Energy Factor score, with which you will measure your progress, month by month. Please click on each Principle's heading below to read about why it is such an important part of your health and wellbeing.
Here is a diagram of a completed Picture of Health tool showing you the 12 Health Creation Principles. The blue section in the centre represents all the areas where you are taking good care of yourself, and the surrounding area is where you may be vulnerable or taking risks with your health and wellbeing.
