For the ever-loving support of my family Mike, Sophie and Elouise
My love, gratitude and devotion go always, to my late spiritual mother Pat Pilkington MBE, and her husband Canon Christopher Pilkington whose profound generosity, inspiration and encouragement were nourishing beacons of light to me and to thousands of others during their long lives of voluntary service, pioneering the integrative model of health and healing at the Bristol Cancer Help Centre.
And at the heart of it all, I would like to acknowledge the vital learning I have received from my colleagues, students and the very dear people with cancer who placed their trust in me, including the inspirational Penny Brohn. Between them they taught me everything I know about holism, health and healing through the strength of their spirits, the courage of their hearts, their humour, curiosity, and determination; and above all their immensely powerful creative intelligence.
I am deeply indebted to you all and thank you with all my heart for believing in me and in supporting me in our vitally important healing work.
And to the many others I have not mentioned, who have donated time, energy, funds, ideas, love and friendship to help this work go forward I thank you most sincerely for everything you have done to support Health Creation.
